barry_greenSince his studies with Phil Wilson at the Berklee School of Music in the early 1980’s, Barry Green has played trombone in almost every setting imaginable. His tours with the legendary Larry Carlton have taken him onto the stages of the most renowned jazz clubs and festivals in the world and he’s toured the United States extensively with Vince Gill in support of Gill’s epic and Grammy Award-winning “These Days” set as well. Other tours include Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant/Vince Gill Christmas tour December 08. He’s appeared on thousands of recordings in every style –from Michael McDonald to Tony Bennett to Matchbox 20 to Garth Brooks and many others. – He has recorded jingles for Ford, Budweiser, Coke and CNN. Classical performances with the Nashville Chamber Brass Society and the symphonies of Nashville, Huntsville and Chattanooga round out the resume of one of the most versatile trombone players in the country.

Barry has contracted shows for Tennessee Repertory Theatre, numerous live events and many sessions. He has a great knowledge of the vast talent available in Nashville and is happy to assist with any recording project as a player or contractor.
